Students develop proficiency in knife skills, stock and sauce preparation, soup making, and basic menu planning while preparing for the industry-standard ServSafe Manager certification. The course emphasizes hands-on learning in a professional kitchen environment, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application to prepare students for advanced culinary coursework and entry-level positions in the food service industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Food Business, Hospitality Management or Culinary Management
  • 5 years of culinary leadership experience in the hospitality industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD/DBA Management
  • PhD/DBA Hospitality Management
