We are now looking for an AI Project Trainee. This position is located in Changshu, China.

What you will do

• Support the CSU AI Project Manager with project coordination, planning, documentation, follow-up activities, and other day-to-day project tasks
• Take a key supporting role in data preparation, including data collection, cleansing, validation, organization, and basic analysis for AI use cases
• Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, training sessions, and workshops, including preparing materials, capturing outcomes, and tracking agreed actions
• Support business process mapping and analysis to identify requirements, improvement opportunities, and potential AI applications
• Develop practical competence in project delivery, process analysis, data preparation, and AI solutions, with the aim of providing basic support for future solutions and continuous improvement

Who you are

• You have a bachelor’s degree or above
• You have an academic background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related engineering or science discipline
• You have knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, or similar technologies
• You have gained experience in data analysis, data visualization, or automation projects through coursework, internships, or personal projects
• You are a strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
• You have fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken. Overseas study or work experience is considered an advantage
• You have a basic understanding of AI, machine learning, data analysis, process automation, or digital transformation concepts. Experience with database management, data modelling, or system integration projects would be a plus
• You are available for a 12-month contract position and willing to be based in Changshu
