Android Developer

We are looking for a seasoned Android Developer who is passionate about designing and delivering incredible user experiences. Your primary focus will be the design and development of Android applications, SDK to support other applications, and integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop applications for the Android platform
• Contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle
• Participate in Agile/Scrum software development process
• Collaborate with teams to analyze, design, and ship new features
• Fix software defects and improve applications performance
• Implement unit and automation tests, security best practice, and API integrations in the applications
• Continuously learn and implement new technologies to maximize application performance
• Lead cross-functional projects
• Work with frontend and backend engineers to design, build and test reusable REST APIs
• Collaborate with design to build an optimized mobile experience
• Work independently, or with other team members, in software designing and developing including design sessions and code reviews

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and at least 3 years experience working on Android software development projects, including experience shipping Android apps to Google Play
• Experience with Reactive programming
• Proficient understanding of design pattern such as MVP and MVVM
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with orientation towards teamwork
• Initiative and independence in solving daily tasks
• A desire to solve tough technical problems and to see your work appreciated by users around the world
• Proficient with Java, and Android SDK
• Familiar with CICD process, Jenkins
• Experience with unit test
• Knowledge of analytics tools such as Firebase, Google Analytic, Crashlytics,ANR.
• Experience with code versioning tools such as Git
• Experience in Android JUnit
• Experience with Agile software development practices (preferably Scrum)
