Job Title: Application Developer – Cognos BI
Location: Weehawken, NJ
Duration: 6+ months

Description:
Client is looking for Cognos Admin skills as primary skill and perhaps have development as secondary skill.
Administrator (L1 & L2 Support – Works with Product / Platform Engineering) : scripts/instructions) L1 - MTS Support Maintain the health of the environment – server availability Start / stop services during maintenance or planned downtime Perform code drop & deployments into QA / PROD environments (provided with deployment L2 - GPS Support GTIS/IS team for environment configuration activities Complete users requests for access or changes to environment Manage any L1 escalations Analysis & root cause of application or infrastructure issues and corresponding break fixes Developing Automation scripts for code deployment & maintenance Execution of the capacity planning (hardware & license tracking) Incident & Problem Management – Tools (ETL, BI etc.)
