A leading global architectural, consulting, construction engineering, operations and mobility services firm. 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Architectural Design Reviewer to join our organization in Cairo, Egypt. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive reviews of architectural designs, ensuring compliance with building standards, codes, and project specifications. You will work collaboratively with design teams to identify areas for improvement, provide constructive feedback, and drive design excellence across all projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, decisive judgment, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of architectural quality.

• Review architectural designs, drawings, and documentation for compliance with building codes, regulations, and project requirements
• Analyze design proposals and provide detailed feedback to design teams regarding feasibility, functionality, and adherence to standards
• Conduct quality assurance assessments on design deliverables, including plans, elevations, sections, and technical specifications
• Identify design conflicts, inconsistencies, and potential construction issues before project implementation
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve design challenges and optimize solutions
• Prepare comprehensive design review reports documenting findings, recommendations, and required modifications
• Ensure all designs comply with local Egyptian building codes and regulatory requirements
• Participate in design meetings and presentations to communicate review outcomes and design improvements
• Maintain organized documentation of all design reviews and maintain records for project archives
• Mentor junior team members on design standards, best practices, and review methodologies
• Stay current with industry standards, emerging design trends, and regulatory updates

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural design review, quality assurance, or related field
• Proficiency in CAD software and design documentation tools
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and architectural regulations
• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software and workflows
• Demonstrated expertise in analyzing architectural drawings and technical specifications
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate design feedback clearly
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities
• Proficiency in identifying design conflicts and proposing practical solutions
• Knowledge of local Egyptian building regulations and construction practices
• Experience with design compliance documentation and regulatory submissions
• Familiarity with sustainability and green building design principles
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to design excellence
• Preferred experience in mentoring or leading design review teams
