As a Armed Security Officer Clearance Eligible in Palmdale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of office areas, billing operations spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as authorized, and report suspicious activity or access-control concerns.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications and handle authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, site policies, and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
