Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer Hospital Driver in Killeen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and document incidents in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site-specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a valid Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
