Peninsula Private Hospital is a comprehensive 344 bed acute emergency, surgical, medical, cardiac and obstetric facility located in the bayside town of Frankston in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs.

We are now recruiting for an Assistant Nurse Unit Manager to join our Perioperative team at Peninsula Private Hospital. In this role, you will be joining the dedicated team in the Perioperative Gynaecology / Urology setting.

The successful candidate will have management aspirations, or prior experience, to step into a key leadership role.

You will be able to work collaboratively and consult with doctors to ensure that best practice and patient outcomes are achieved.

In the ANUM role you will report to and assist the Nurse Unit Manager in the day to day running of the ward, you will liaise between surgeons and patients and ensure an excellent standard of care.

Your Skills and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you must display strong clinical knowledge and competence within a Perioperative  care setting. You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The flexibility to work 7-day rotating shifts will also be key for this role.

You will also bring:

• Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum three (3) years’ nursing experience in the Perioperative Gynaecology / Urology Clinical leadership experience or post graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded
• Demonstrated personal commitment to ongoing professional development
