Associate Lawyer -Corporate and Commercial

One of Malta’s top tier law firms, based in the heart of the capital, is looking for an Associate Lawyer to join and grow their professional career within the Corporate and Commercial team. As an Associate Lawyer you will be working mostly with M&A transactions.

Starting salary up to €50K

Role & Responsibilities:

• Acting as a key member within the legal team and offering your legal knowledge and expertise on a variety of legal projects for the Corporate and Commercial team
• Overseeing the due diligence of various M&A projects that can vary in size and industry
• Reviewing transaction documentation along with drafting and reviewing the completion documentation
• Supporting the firm's Partners with various tasks
• Assisting with day-to-day casework
• Liaising directly with clients and relevant authorities
• Managing individual client relationships independently

Skills & Experience:

• Warranted Lawyer with 2+ years PQE
• Experience with M&A
• Experience of working with a big 4 firm would be meriting
• Able to work effectively under pressure and is results-oriented
• Articulate with exceptional communication skills in both English and Maltese
