About the role

The Associate Manager, Maintenance is responsible for supervising maintenance and engineering technical staff, overseeing plant and facility operations, managing yearly maintenance budgets, and leading project management initiatives while upholding safety and health standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance engineering and technical staff while monitoring troubleshooting and maintenance schedules.
• Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget and drive cost-saving initiatives across operations.
• Identify areas for equipment and facility improvement, assign teams to issues, and delegate tasks to satisfy department schedules.
• Ensure cross-training of maintenance personnel to manage all operational areas and respond to emergency maintenance calls.
• Plan and coordinate installations of machinery, equipment, electricity, refurbishments, and office space allocation.
• Manage equipment and supplies upkeep to ensure full alignment with health and safety standards.
• Inspect building structures to determine repair or renovation needs and monitor utility consumption to minimize costs.
• Supervise facilities staff, external contractors, and oversee QA/QC for site project management.
• Actively participate in comprehensive project management including initial survey, design, cost estimates, and construction.
• Monitor site safety measures per Avery Dennison and FM Global standards, coordinate with project consultants, and maintain legal project records.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. Engineering in Industrial & Production Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a relevant maintenance or engineering field.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Sound understanding of production processes and facility operations.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and achieve target-oriented goals.
