About this role
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, delivering, and maintaining high‑quality automated testing solutions across a suite of innovative products. You will work closely with developers, product owners, architects, and wider engineering teams to drive a quality‑first mindset and ensure that automation is embedded throughout the development lifecycle. A core part of the role is building, enhancing, and governing automation frameworks, ensuring that testing is scalable, reliable, and aligned with modern engineering practices. You will work heavily within an Agile Scrum environment, champion test-driven development (TDD), support continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines, and guide teams in modern automation approaches, tools, and techniques. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automation solutions using:
- Cypress Cloud and Selenium WebDriver for E2E testing.
- Cucumber and Reqnroll for BDD practices.
- Jest for unit and component testing (desirable).
- K6 or JMeter for performance testing (desirable).
- Manage and execute cross-browser testing using BrowserStack.
- Work within a Monorepo architecture to deliver efficient, scalable test orchestration.
- Ensure seamless continuous testing through GitHub and DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Proven experience in test automation and QA engineering roles.
Monorepo structures and test orchestration
Strong understanding of test automation strategies, frameworks, methodologies, and patterns.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to collaborate confidently with engineers, analysts, and product teams.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a quality-first mindset.
Clear communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts simply.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality automated test scripts and frameworks.
Experience in Agile Scrum delivery environments.
