Automotive Detailer

Position Summary

Plan B Autobody is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team. This role is responsible for cleaning, restoring, and preparing customer vehicles for delivery while ensuring every vehicle leaves the shop looking its absolute best. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, maintains a strong attention to detail, and is committed to providing an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly wash, dry, and clean vehicle exteriors using professional detailing techniques.
• Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, dashboards, windows, door panels, and trim.
• Remove dust, debris, compound residue, overspray, and contaminants from repaired vehicles.
• Polish, wax, and apply protective finishes as needed to enhance vehicle appearance.
• Clean wheels, tires, wheel wells, and exterior trim components.
• Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet quality standards before delivery.
• Assist with vehicle staging, lot organization, and maintaining an organized appearance throughout the facility.
• Maintain detailing equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Follow company safety procedures and environmental guidelines.
• Support additional shop operations and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous automotive detailing experience is preferred but not required; training is available for the right candidate.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and work environment.
