Azure Integration Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Azure Integration Developer based in Canada.

This role focuses on designing and delivering modern integration solutions using Microsoft Azure Integration Services. You will connect clinical information systems, ancillary platforms, on-premises environments, and cloud applications through scalable and secure architectures. Working across Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, and other Azure services, you will build high-performance solutions capable of handling complex integration demands. The position combines hands-on development with architecture, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous optimization. You will collaborate with business teams, project managers, architects, and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable solutions. This is a remote contract opportunity based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, running from October 19, 2026 through April 30, 2027.

• Design, develop, document, install, and configure Azure-based integration solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, App Services, Event Grid, and related Azure services.
• Build integration applications and services using C# and .NET.
• Architect scalable, fault-tolerant, secure, and high-performance solutions capable of supporting high message volumes and large messages.
• Integrate Azure services with on-premises databases, network shares, and cloud-based applications.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions, troubleshoot integration issues, perform performance tuning, and resolve technical problems.
• Collaborate with business teams, project managers, architects, and other technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver effective integration solutions.
• Support CI/CD deployments and promote integration solutions across Development, Test, and Production environments.
• Create comprehensive technical and solution documentation.
• Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to integration teams.
• Apply secure integration practices, including appropriate credential and secret management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of overall IM/IT experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing integration solutions using Microsoft Azure Integration Services.
• 5+ years of practical experience with C# and .NET.
• Strong expertise with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, App Services, and Event Grid.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD practices, and Azure deployment frameworks such as ARM and Bicep.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable, secure, fault-tolerant, and high-performance integration architectures.
• Experience integrating hybrid environments across on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container-based environments.
• Experience with Azure monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, data validation, and transformation.
• Familiarity with hybrid connectivity technologies such as On-premises Data Gateway and ExpressRoute.
• Knowledge of HL7 v2.x and/or FHIR is preferred, particularly for healthcare-related integration environments.
• Strong ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on reliability, performance, and secure integration.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and contribute to cross-functional integration teams.
