Backend Intern

• Build and maintain server-side APIs and services in a production codebase.
• Work with databases: writing queries, designing schemas, and optimizing performance.
• Integrate third-party services and handle authentication, data flow, and error handling.
• Write tests and help debug issues across the backend stack.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on code reviews and feature delivery.
• Learn from a solid, strong engineering team and grow through hands-on mentorship.
• Work in the fintech field to gain real experience and a deep understanding of the domain.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and database performance tuning.
