The Venue

THE BUTCHER SOCIAL CLUB, created by entrepreneur Yossi Eliyahoo of The Entourage Group, is a high-end yet casual burger restaurant. The Butcher Social Club is a living lobby restaurant offering lounge areas, game tables, swing seats, a two-story living green wall, music and artwork. It is a place where guests connect, hang out, meet and certainly have a great night out. Not only burgers but also other great food will be served accompanied with live DJ music every night.

The job

As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for providing our guests with an exceptional dining experience. This role requires an individual who is passionate about cocktails, hospitality, attentive to detail, and possesses excellent communication skills. Our Bar Manager oversee all the sections in the restaurant and are able to make sure all our guests are being served with high quality.

Ultimately, you'll ensure that we provide excellent guest service and a pleasant dining experience to our guests, always with a smile. For this role, you should be people skilled and motivated to make sure our guests have an unforgettable dining experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. The ideally candidate for this role has excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality and thrive in a team based environment.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service

• Lead, schedule, and supervise the bar team, fostering a positive and professional working environment

• Deliver an excellent guest experience by maintaining high service and presentation standards

• Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations

• Ensure the highest standards of service and presentation are maintained at all times

• Collaborate closely with management and other departments to support overall business objectives

  Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience as a Bar Manager or Senior Bartender in a high-volume or premium hospitality environment.

• Knowledge of alcoholic beverages: The Bar Manager should have a deep understanding of different types of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware, as well as how to properly prepare and serve various types of drinks.

• Strong customer service skills: The Bar Manager must be friendly, personable, and able to engage with guests in a positive and professional manner.

• Ability to work under pressure: You must be able to work efficiently and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Good communication skills: You must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with guets, other staff members, and management.

• Excellentleadership and team managementskills: Ability to lead by example, create a positive team culture, and ensure clear communication and accountability within the bar team.

• Ability to train, motivate, and supervise bar staff: Responsible for onboarding new team members, providing ongoing training and coaching, motivating staff to perform at their best, and supervising daily operations to ensure service standards are consistently met.

• Fluent speaking and writing in English/ Spanish is a plus

• You live in Gibraltar (or nearby)
