Position SummaryKey Responsibilities
- Strategically market hospice services to physicians, hospitals, SNFs, assisted living facilities, case managers, and discharge planners.
- Leverage existing referral accounts and develop new relationships to meet and exceed patient admission goals.
- Consistently deliver 10+ patient admissions per month through established networks.
- Conduct targeted presentations and in-services to educate providers on hospice eligibility, philosophy, and benefits.
- Collaborate with clinical and admissions teams to ensure seamless referral and admission processes.
- Analyze referral trends and develop marketing strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
- Represent the hospice with professionalism, compliance, and a compassionate approach.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven success in hospice marketing/business development.
- Established, active referral accounts with demonstrated ability to produce admissions.
- Strong knowledge of hospice eligibility, regulations, and CMS compliance.
- Exceptional marketing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Entrepreneurial, results-driven, and able to work independently.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited college/university is preferred.
Environmental and Working Conditions:
Works under a variety of conditions in facilities and offices; ability to travel locally; ability to work a flexible schedule; some exposure to unpleasant weather.
