At Enertis Applus+, we are looking for a BESS Consultant to join our consultancy team, reporting directly to Consultancy Team

🛠️ What will you do?

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Technical due diligence reviews.

• Review and negotiate the technical conditions of the EPC, BESS supply agreements and Long term Service agreements.

• Construction stage monitoring and inspection.

• Technical specification drafting and support with contract development.

• Monitoring of market technology developments and new battery products.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Technical experience with the following Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) sub-systems: battery module and rack systems, power conversion systems, battery unit controllers, system losses, BESS cooling systems, and fire detection and suppression systems.

• Excellent technical report writing skills.

• Experience leading or participating in technical due diligence processes, contract reviews and negotiations, as well as battery equipment procurement.

• Experience applying relevant IEC standards, NFPA 855, and UL 9540A.

• Ability to deal effectively and professionally with external and internal clients and participate in meetings with relevant stakeholders.

• Ability to witness Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and provide site-based construction monitoring.

• Ability to work as part of a wider engineering team while also operating autonomously.
