Bus Mechanic

Our client is seeking a skilled Bus Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of minibuses and coaches. The successful candidate will ensure all vehicles are kept in safe, roadworthy condition and compliant with all transport regulations.

Key Responsibilities

· Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections on minibuses and coaches

· Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults

· Repair or replace faulty components in a timely and efficient manner

· Ensure all vehicles comply with road safety and CVRT standards

· Maintain accurate service and maintenance repair records

· Conduct CVRT checks and prepare vehicles for inspection

· Respond to breakdowns or urgent repair needs when required

· Work closely with management to ensure fleet availability and reliability

Requirements

· Qualification in Motor Mechanics or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance

· Proven experience working with buses, coaches, or light commercial vehicles

· Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

· Knowledge of diesel engines and modern vehicle systems

· Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards

· Full Category B driving licence

· Strong commitment to health and safety
