Business Development Manager (Accra-Ghana)

Alpha Mead Group is a Total Real Estate Solutions Company established to provide robust business support services to local and international Real Estate investors or owners with interests in Facilities Management, Real Estate Development and Advisory, Security Systems and Technologies, Training, Healthcare Management, and Real Estate Financing Services.

To drive business growth and revenue generation by identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities for the Company's total facility management services, covering hard and soft services, while building strategic client relationships and maintaining a healthy business pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across total FM, hard services, soft services, and integrated facility management solutions.
  • Develop and execute business development plans to achieve agreed revenue, sales, and growth targets.
  • Generate, qualify, and manage leads through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry engagements, and other channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, key decision-makers, consultants, developers, and strategic partners.
  • Prepare and present proposals, capability statements, tenders, RFP/RFQ responses, and sales presentations tailored to client requirements.
  • Work with Operations, Commercial, Finance, and other relevant teams to develop technically feasible and commercially viable solutions and support contract negotiations.
  • Maintain and manage the sales pipeline, CRM records, forecasts, and business development reports, ensuring Management is regularly updated on opportunities, market trends, and performance.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities, market gaps, and potential areas for business growth.
  • Identify cross-selling, upselling, contract renewal, and account expansion opportunities within existing client accounts.
  • Support the successful handover of newly secured contracts to Operations and provide commercial support to other business units as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information, commercial proposals, pricing, business plans, and other sensitive business information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Estate Management, Facility Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 6–8 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles, preferably within the facility management, property, real estate, construction, or related services industry.
  • Demonstrable experience in selling hard, soft, or integrated facility management services.
  • Strong knowledge of the Ghanaian FM/property market, including key market segments, clients, competitors, and business opportunities.
  • An established business network and relationships within the Ghanaian corporate, commercial, real estate, property, and facilities management sectors will be an advantage.
  • Strong skills in business development, client relationship management, negotiation, presentation, and commercial analysis.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other business development tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, networking, and report-writing skills.
  • Candidates residing in Accra, Ghana, will be considered.
