Role overview

We are looking for experienced Workflow Automation Developers to join our team and work on enterprise-scale business process automation projects in the banking sector.

You will design, develop, and deliver workflow solutions using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) or similar BPM platforms, collaborating closely with business analysts and integration engineers to automate mission-critical banking processes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing business processes and workflows on enterprise BPM platforms.
• Developing BPMN process models, user-facing forms, and system integrations.
• Integrating workflow applications with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
• Troubleshooting, optimizing, and maintaining production workflow applications.
• Collaborating with business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with a business process automation / workflow platform such as IBM BAW, IBM BPM, WebSphere Lombardi, Camunda, Pega, Appian, Bizagi, Activiti / Flowable, or similar.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of BPMN 2.0 and business process modeling principles.
• Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience integrating workflow applications with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, Git, and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience specifically with IBM BAW or IBM BPM.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or insurance projects.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Knowledge of additional BPM/workflow tools or low-code platforms.
• Agile / Scrum experience.
