CAD Operator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Draftsman who has recently graduated with a diploma degree in drafting, engineering, or a related field. The ideal candidate will assist in creating technical drawings and plans under the guidance of senior designers and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Drawing Creation:
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software based on design specifications and instructions.
  • Create accurate and clear technical drawings for various engineering or architectural projects, ensuring all drawings adhere to industry standards and company guidelines.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with senior draftsmen, designers, and engineers to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure that all design requirements are accurately captured in the drawings.
• Revisions and Updates:
  • Make revisions to existing drawings as required, incorporating feedback from supervisors or clients.
  • Update and maintain drawing records, ensuring that all revisions are documented and archived properly.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards.
  • Assist in the review and correction of any discrepancies or errors in the drawings.
• Documentation:
  • Organize and maintain drawing files, ensuring that all documents are easily accessible and up-to-date.
  • Prepare drawing sets and documentation for submission to clients or regulatory bodies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Diploma degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, CIVL3D or similar).
  • Basic understanding of technical drawing principles and standards.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship experience in drafting or a related field is a plus, but not required.
• A basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
