Café Baristas

Required for various locations. This position creates an exceptional experience for our customers by introducing to them new quality beverage and food products. Reporting to the Café Manager, duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Acting with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture, values, and mission of FoodHub

• Working well under pressure particularly during periods of high volume

• Anticipating customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers for cues

• Assisting in the development of hot cold and frozen beverages programs

• Preparing quality food and beverages: consistently adhering to recipes or customized orders

• Delivering legendary customer service to all by having a “customer comes first” attitude

• Assisting with training and development, reinforcing successful performance

• Following FoodHub operational policies/procedures, including cash handling, safety and security

Qualifications/Skills: The selected candidate must be a quick learner with excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team. At least two year’s experience in a similar role operating specialty coffee equipment is essential. Strong POS and inventory control skills are necessary. Having a friendly, enthusiastic, engaging personality, is essential.

This position requires an organized person who is able to respond with a sense of urgency and maintain momentum. The above job requires flexible hours which may include shift work, weekends and holidays
