Capacity Representative

AMX Logistics, located in historic Savannah, GA,
is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented candidate for our Capacity Representative role that enjoys communicating with others and can handle a multi-tasking, fast paced environment. The Capacity Representative is an innovative, entrepreneurial minded individual that helps establish best practices and growth for themselves and for AMX!

Pay: Earn commission from the start. COMPETITIVE BASE PAY + Uncapped MONTHLY COMMISSIONS! First year earnings $70-75K with opportunity to earn $90K+.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Sell our business model and help recruit ideal carriers that meet our partnership terms.
• Provide high level of customer service to partner carriers.
• Support our brokerage team by matching available trucks to available customer freight.
• Track and trace carrier performance to ensure real time tracking.
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers to improve service and maximize profits.
• Manage your own group of carriers through carrier sales and negotiation.
• Analyze our freight network to identify capacity needs and source capacity options.

Skills/Qualifications

• College degree and/or industry experience strongly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must!
• Ability to multitask effective and meet deadlines
• Entrepreneurial spirit: self-starter that enjoys the thrill of victory!
• Must be a strong individual performer who also works well in a team environment
• Capable of maintaining focus in a fast-paced environment.
