THE JOB:

As a Casino Porter within our Environmental Services (EVS) department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere of our casino and public areas. In this role, you will ensure that casino floors, gaming areas, and public spaces are maintained to the highest standards while providing friendly, responsive service to guests and team members. Whether you're keeping the gaming floor spotless, responding quickly to guest needs, or helping create a safe environment for everyone, your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to memorable guest experiences.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Sweeps and removes all wrappers, broken glass, ashtrays, and debris from floor
• Cleans and dusts slot machines, including areas between machines, doors, and woodwork
• Removes scuffmarks and drink spills
• Cleans up biohazard areas
• Cleans slot chairs, polishes their bases, and then returns chairs to proper position
• Vacuums entire assigned stations, moving chairs and other objects to ensure thorough cleaning
• Removes trash, replaces missing ashtrays, and wipes out and cleans all ashtrays and trash cans
• Ensures all equipment is returned to department and all malfunctioning equipment is reported
• Replenishes supplies when necessary
• Responds to and resolves guest challenges in a timely manner and creatively solves problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• At least six (6) months of prior General Cleaning experience (Preferred)

Pay Rate:

The rate for this role is:

$21.41

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
