We’re looking for a Part-Time Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team, working across Oak Room Restaurant and Banquets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled chef who enjoys variety and wants to develop their experience across à la carte dining and large-scale events.

You’ll play an important role in delivering high-quality food across restaurant service, conferences and events while supporting the wider kitchen team and maintaining high standards of quality, presentation and food safety.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes across Oak Room Restaurant and Conferencing.
• Work across à la carte, buffet and large-scale event service.
• Support daily mise-en-place and preparation across different kitchen sections.
• Work closely with senior chefs to deliver consistent, high-quality food.
• Support and guide junior kitchen team members.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen presentation.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
• Adapt to changing service requirements across restaurant and event operations.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery.
• Previous Chef de Partie experience within a hotel, restaurant or high-volume kitchen.
• A la carte experience with exposure to banquets highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently across multiple kitchen sections and service styles.
• Positive, team-focused approach with a genuine passion for food.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
