Chief Accountant

The Chief Accountant at Cardoo Technologies is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role plays a key part in managing financial reporting, cost control, and compliance within a dynamic tech and retail-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all accounting activities, including AP, AR, and General Ledger
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Monitor company financial performance and provide actionable insights to management
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory management, and expense control (especially for production and technology costs)
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting standards
• Handle tax filings, audits, and financial reviews
• Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and financial planning
• Collaborate with different departments to support business growth and cost optimization
• Ensure accurate and efficient use of ERP systems (Odoo)

Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in retail, technology, or consumer electronics industries
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Solid knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, especially Odoo
• Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Proven track record and good reputation within the retail field

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred
