Cleaner - Full Time

Priory Hospital Kneesworth is looking to recruit a Cleaner to join our team. This is a permanent full time role.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm.

You don’t need previous experience – just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Located in Royston, Hertfordshire, within a purpose-built facility and spacious grounds, Priory Hospital Kneesworth House is a level 2 rehabilitation service, which provides a range of specialist recovery pathways, all at one site.

The hospital also provides acute and psychiatric intensive care, medium and low secure services, and bespoke therapeutic placements. Priory’s acute and PICU services aim to allow more people to be treated closer to home and we support the NHS to repatriate out-of-area patients back to local areas.

· Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the site

· Following cleaning schedules and Priory standards

· Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively

· Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or hazards

· Working as part of a team to deliver a high-quality service

· Supporting colleagues where required

Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.

· Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills

· Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided

· Reliable with a strong work ethic

· Good attention to detail

· Able to work independently and as part of a team

· Physical stamina to carry out an active role throughout the day
