Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out assignments in accounting and other related matters as may be required from time to time
- Providing off-site/on-site support to clients
- Preparing inter-company debt notes and settlement of current accounts
- Maintaining ledgers and monthly reconciliations
- Preparing VAT returns
- Assisting in preparation of monthly and year end accounts
- Preparation of tax computation
- Preparing financial statements and posting balance sheet checklists
- Assisting with auditor queries
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting environment
- University degree or partly/fully ACCA-qualified
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team; be assertive, eye for numbers etc
- Strong communicator and self-motivated
- Able to work with strict deadlines
- Completely fluent in English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV Xero, Sage online and Quickbooks is considered an asset.
