Client/ServerNetworkArchitect–Senior

Top- Level technical expert responsible for design and development ofaclient/serverenvironment. Develops strategy ofclient/server system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy. Advises on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.Sets standards for theclient/server relational database structure for the organization (SQL, ORACLE, SYBASE, etc.).Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management.

Performanceshall include:

• Providingtechnicalexpertiseandassistwithnetworkintegrationandconsolidationeffortsacross multiple network environments

• Addressingandresolvingcomplextechnicalproblemsrelatingtotheinstallationandupgradeofnetwork hardware and systems

• Interfacingwithcustomers,vendorsandothertechnicalstafftoanalyzebusinessandtechnical requirements

• Documentingengineeringstandards,leadsinthedevelopmentofnetworkarchitectureand engineering designs and changes

• Evaluatingcurrentandemergingnetworktechnologies,conductstechnicalassessmentsandmaking recommendation to the Chief Engineer

• Performnetworkmodeling,analysis,and planning

Experience:

• 7-9 years related experience

Education:

• Bachelor’sdegreeinarelatedareaOR Associate’s degree in a related area + 2 years’ experience OR equivalentexperience(4years)

Certifications:

• MustmeetpositionandcertificationrequirementsoutlinedinDoDDirective8570.01-Mfor Information Assurance Technician Level 2 within 6 months of the date of hire

SecurityClearance:

• TS/SCI

• EligibilityforaccesstoSpecialAccessProgram Information

• WillingnesstosubmittoaCounterintelligence polygraph
