Cloud Platform Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in the further development and operation of our cloud platforms, providing internal customers with a modern and flexible foundation for their workloads.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Further develop and operate our Azure cloud platform with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and GitOps.

• Support internal DevOps teams with the architecture and implementation of their applications.

• Implement infrastructure abstractions based on the Kubernetes API, for example through Operators and tools such as Crossplane.

• Enhance our self-service infrastructure, observability capabilities, CI/CD, and GitOps tooling for internal users.

• Collaborate closely with internal customers to continuously improve and expand the platform based on their needs.

Requirements

Required Technical & Professional Expertise

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.

• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Crossplane, as well as GitOps methodologies.

• Experience with security and compliance in cloud environments.

• Passion for modern engineering practices and agile ways of working.

• Very good English communication skills.
