About this role
The Commercial Manager’s mission is to work towards a state where every Paradox title is commercially optimized at every point of its lifecycle. The main task is to identify and execute on commercial opportunities across the product portfolio and markets, while ensuring data-driven practices and processes in the organization.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with game teams to execute on commercial initiatives and ensure their successful implementation. You will be responsible for conducting regular pricing analysis and monitoring market dynamics to optimize product pricing. You will also support strategic and commercial decision-making through financial modeling. Staying up to date with industry trends and the competitive landscape will be essential to provide informed recommendations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, finance, or other relevant fields
3+ years of experience working as an Analyst, Commercial/Pricing Manager, or similar
Strong analytical skills, with the capacity to develop models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
Experience working with large data sets
Ability to build business cases
Interest in and understanding of the games industry
Advanced Excel skills, or equivalent skills in a similar tool
Additional Qualifications That Will Be Valued
Experience with financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, valuation, and return analysis

Today, Paradox consists of both publishing and internal game development. We have a broad portfolio of games and own the most important brands, including Stellaris, Europa Universalis, Hearts of Iron, Crusader Kings, Cities: Skylines, Prison Architect, Victoria, Age of Wonders and the World of Darkness catalog of brands.
Since 2004, the company has published its games all over the world, initially through physical distribution but primarily in digital channels after 2006. Paradox games are developed primarily for PC and console platforms, but the company also releases games on mobile. The largest markets today include the US, UK, China, Germany, France and Scandinavia. In total, Paradox games have over five million players each month.
The starting salary for this position is 50 000 SEK per month. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and overall alignment with the requirements of the role.
