Commercial Plumbing Journeyperson

The Role
We need an experienced Commercial Journeyperson Plumber to help deliver our commercial projects. This is a leadership role on site. You'll organize materials and labour, run sub-scopes, and guide apprentices, while doing hands-on installation work on commercial buildings. Earn $40.00–$55.00 per hour, based on your skills and experience. You also get health and dental benefits, a matching RRSP, a tool program, and a steady Monday–Friday schedule.

On the Job, You'll:

• Lead rough-ins, groundworks and new plumbing system installations in commercial buildings
• Organize materials and labour, and lead sub-scopes on site
• Work from blueprints, schematics and technical drawings
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing problems and find solutions that work
• Mentor apprentices with hands-on training and day-to-day guidance
• Test systems with air and water pressure gauges to find leaks and other issues
• Make sure all work meets local plumbing codes, safety regulations and company procedures

What You Need:

• Journeyperson Plumber certification
• At least 3–5 years of commercial plumbing experience
• Leadership experience (preferred), and the ability to lead and mentor others
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, materials and tools
• Confidence reading blueprints and technical specifications
• Sharp problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfort working independently or as part of a crew
• The physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces
• A valid driver's licence and a clean driver's abstract
