As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for collaborating with senior chefs to create dishes that make a lasting impression. What you will do?

• Prepare a variety of dishes in a high-volume production setting
• Follow recipes for menu preparation, ensuring adherence to cooking guidelines and standards
• Execute food preparation tasks with a focus on presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
• Conduct temperature and quality checks, manage cross-contamination to ensure WHS compliance

More about you

• Previous Commis Chef experience, required
• Minimum Level 3 Certificate in Commercial Cookery
• Solid background in kitchen operations
• Demonstrated track record meeting financial targets for food and labour costs
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including early morning breakfast shifts and evening dinner service, is essential
