Compressor Service Technicians (5)

Looking for an experienced Compressor Service Technician responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of compressors and related systems. The successful candidate will provide technical support to customers and ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, inspect, service, and maintain compressors and related equipment at customer sites.

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and service schedules.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-system faults.

• Carry out repairs, component replacement, adjustments, testing, and equipment performance checks.

• Inspect compressor engines/motors, air-end systems, filters, oil systems, cooling systems, valves, belts, hoses, electrical components, and control panels.

• Conduct pressure, temperature, leakage, vibration, and operational checks to identify equipment abnormalities.

• Respond to customer service requests and provide timely technical support and breakdown assistance.

• Prepare accurate service reports detailing faults identified, work performed, parts used, and recommendations.

• Identify required spare parts and coordinate with the relevant team for availability and replacement.

• Provide customers with basic guidance on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and safe use.

• Maintain proper use and care of service tools, diagnostic equipment, and company assets.

• Follow all company, customer-site, health, safety, and environmental requirements.

• Coordinate with the Sales and Service teams to address customer requirements and identify additional maintenance, repair, and spare-parts opportunities.

• Be willing to travel to customer sites and respond to urgent technical assignments when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in compressor servicing, industrial machinery, engineering equipment, or related technical services.

• Practical experience in compressor installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

• Good understanding of air compressors, pneumatic systems, electric motors, diesel engines, control systems, and mechanical components.

• Experience servicing established compressor brands, particularly Kaeser, Atlas Copco, or similar brands, is an added advantage.

• Valid driving licence is an added advantage
