Conservation Architect

Qualification

• Post Graduation in Conservation Architecture

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review conservation and heritage architecture proposals.

• Develop architectural conservation frameworks for heritage and special regulation areas.

• Support preparation of Master Plans with heritage-sensitive planning approaches.

• Coordinate with urban planners, architects, government authorities, and stakeholders on conservation-related works.

• Conduct heritage assessments, documentation, and conservation studies.

• Ensure compliance with architectural conservation guidelines and heritage regulations.

• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and conservation recommendations.

Mandatory Requirements

• Candidate should have been involved in:

• Architectural conservation,

• Framing special architectural regulations for heritage areas,

• And related works,

for at least one Master Plan in the last 5 years.

Kannada Speaking Preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of heritage conservation practices and urban regulations

• Experience in heritage precinct planning and restoration concepts

• Strong analytical, documentation, and presentation skills

• Ability to work in multidisciplinary planning teams
