About the Role
FTI Consulting is seeking aConsultantto join our growing Transaction Advisory Services team. Our Transaction team is aligned with FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring organization.
In FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring organization, we focus on our clients’ strategic, operational,financialand capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional opportunities faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditorconstituenciesand other stakeholders.
The Transaction Advisory Services team offers competitive advice and support by evaluating the risk/return considerations in all stages of the deal continuum.
Areas of focus include:
- Quality of Earnings (EBITDA)
- Working Capital, Quality of Net Assets
- Forecast, Debt and Debt Like Items
- Customer/Product/Channel/Category sales and margins, inventorycostingand bill of materials
WhatYou’llDo
The Consultant collaborates with our clients and internal project teams across the entire deal life cycle. You will use your strategic style, cross-functionalexpertise, and deal skills to:
- Provide financial and accounting related consulting services in the Corporate Finance practice areas
- Prepare, review, and evaluate historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that mayimpactcash flow and deal valuation
- Perform industry and company research andassistin preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
- Provide support andmaintaincommunication with clients and staff members on engagements, while updating senior team members on progress and issues
- Network and build internal relationships with members of the Transaction team and other FTI Consulting service areas

What You Need to Succeed
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Informational Systems, Economics, or related field of study
- Minimum 1 year post graduate professional experience in accounting,auditor finance
- Oral and written fluency in English and Spanish
- Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and SEC requirements
- Experience with the financial due diligence process and financial modeling
- Client or industry experience in one or more of the following: Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, Technology, Industrial, Financial Services, Media, or Energy
- Proficiencyin MS Excel, PowerPoint, and full MS Office suite
