About this role
You Are:
As a Content Migration Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of content migrated into Drupal as part of a major migration initiative
The Work:
- You will design and execute comprehensive test strategies for automated migration scripts and tools, focusing on validating migration outputs and confirming compliance with client standards
- You will build automated test suites using Behat/Gherkin or similar frameworks such as Cucumber, Playwright, or PHPUnit to verify data transformations, field mappings, and content integrity. Your work includes systematically executing tests, documenting results, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with development and migration teams to resolve issues
- You will compare source and migrated content to ensure correct migration of text, formatting, metadata, taxonomy, assets, and links—all properly rendered in Drupal
- When automated testing is insufficient or when human judgment is required, you will support manual content validation to guarantee high-quality results
Here’s What You Need:
- 3 years of experience in defining test strategies, Quality Assurance principles, defects management and issue tracking
- 3 years of experience with Content Management Systems (CMS)
- 3 years of experience with test automation frameworks such as Behat/Gherkin, Cucumber, Playwright, or PHPUnit
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Hands-on experience working within large-scale content migration initiatives
- Understanding of data integrity best practices
- Experience validating structured and unstructured content at scale
- Familiarity with complex metadata, taxonomy models, and digital asset management
- Strong collaboration skills for working with cross-functional development and migration teams
- Experience with Drupal
