Contract Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Source and attract candidates using various platforms including job boards, social media, and networking events
• Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
• Conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess candidates’ skills and cultural fit
• Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers
• Maintain and update applicant tracking systems with candidate information and status
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs
• Provide timely and professional communication to candidates throughout the recruitment process
• Assist with offer negotiations and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires

Requirements

• Proven experience as a recruiter or similar role, preferably in a contract capacity
• Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit effectively
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple job openings simultaneously
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
