Tricon is seeking a Corporate Accountant in Mumbai. The US Accounting Department at Tricon Energy is a multinational team with global coverage, overseeing the following functions:

  Financial Reporting
• 
  Tax
• 
  Special Projects

Roles & Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

• 
  Month end close responsibilities which includes:
  • 
    Review monthly account reconciliations
  • 
    Analyze account variances
  • 
    Prepare and book journal entries
  • 
    Assist with financial statement preparation
• 
  Assist with the review of statutory audits in foreign countries
• 
  This role will interface with senior management, FP&A, risk, treasury, human resources, external consultants, and the commercial trading team, each with members globally.

  Strong interpersonal

  Communication skills are required.
  

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required
• CA Mandatory
  
• Post CA Qualification minimum 3 years of in accounting experience at a mid to large company.
  
• Team Handling Experience is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, oil & gas, or financial services preferred
• Strong technical proficiency in Excel required
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools and ERP systems (JD Edwards and Oracle BI Enterprise Edition a plus)
