Counselor (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC)

Stewards of Recovery is seeking a full-time or part-time Counselor to join our team. We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and clinically skilled professional who is licensed in Idaho and has experience providing substance use and/or mental health treatment.

We are a small, community-focused agency that has served Idaho for more than 10 years. Our goal is to provide individualized, patient-centered care while creating a supportive environment for both our clients and our staff.

About the Position

Our counselors work with adults, youth, and families seeking treatment for substance use disorders, mental health concerns, or co-occurring disorders.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Conducting clinical assessments
• Providing individual therapy
• Facilitating group therapy
• Providing couples and family therapy
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Completing clinical documentation in a timely manner
• Collaborating with clients, families, and community partners
• Performing other clinical duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Hold an active Idaho license as an LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LPC, or LCPC
• Have experience in substance use treatment and/or mental health therapy
• Be comfortable working with diverse populations
• Be familiar with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Be able to complete required clinical documentation within 72 hours

Compensation

Starting compensation is $60,000–$80,000 annually, depending on:

• Clinical experience
• Independent licensure status
• Specialized certifications in substance use treatment and/or trauma
• Qualifications and experience
  

Hiring Bonus: $2,000 after 90 days of full-time employment.
