About this role

We’re looking for a curious and proactive CRM Intern who’s excited to help shape the future of energy. At NextEnergy, you’ll join a fast-growing scale-up where you can make an impact from day one. From improving customer communication to strengthening long-term relationships, your work really matters.

Are you interested in customer engagement, retention and smart marketing automation? Then keep reading.

Who are we?

More and more of our electricity comes from the sun and wind, which means prices move along with it. Yet many households in the Netherlands are still tied to outdated fixed rates and miss out on the benefits of flexible pricing. We believe there’s a better way. We make dynamic energy accessible to everyone, so you can easily take advantage of cheaper, and sometimes even free, moments.

With smart technology and a fair, transparent approach, we ensure that the energy transition is not only good for the planet, but also for your wallet.

At NextEnergy, you join a fast-growing company where innovation is at the core. A place where we build the future of energy together and grow as a team. We give you the space to make an impact, take initiative and share ideas. Because at NextEnergy, we’re not working around the energy transition, we’re working right in the middle of it.

What will you do?

As a CRM Intern, you’ll work closely with marketing, customer operations and product teams. You’ll support the setup, execution and improvement of customer-focused campaigns and communications.

With guidance, you’ll learn how to:

  • Create and send customer communications

Including onboarding emails, product updates, surveys, contract-related communication and loyalty incentives.

  • Support CRM and email flows

Help build, test and optimize flows focused on retention, activation, upsell and churn prevention.

  • Customer segmentation & modelling

Think along about how to segment customers (e.g. loyal users, battery customers) and tailor communication accordingly.

  • Support survey & feedback processes

Assist in setting up, sending and analysing customer surveys to identify insights and opportunities.

  • Campaign support

Contribute to campaigns for new products, upgrades or services, including follow-up and reporting.

  • Improve operational marketing processes

Help make manual processes smarter, more consistent and scalable.

In short: a broad internship where marketing, CRM and customer experience come together.
