Cybersecurity Engineer (Contingent)

• Support secure system architecture and RMF compliance for wearable and sensor-based systems
• Focus on cybersecurity strategy, risk assessment, and accreditation activities
• Support RMF processes (IATT, ATO, SSP, POA&M, etc.)
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and vulnerability analysis
• Develop cybersecurity documentation and strategies
• Support secure system architecture and data protection
• Other duties as assigned

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

Education/Training:

*   Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required
*   Security certifications (i.e. Security+, CISSP, etc.) preferred 

Experience:

*   2+ years of professional experience in the required task area 
*   Experience with RMF and DoD Cybersecurity processes required
*   Knowledge of NIST frameworks and IA principles required
*   Experience supporting ATO/IATT efforts required
*   Experience with embedded or sensor-based systems preferred

Security:

• Must be a US citizen
• Active Top Secret clearance required

Physical Requirements:

• Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
• Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
• Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
• Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
