Data Center Cabling & Quality Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Data Center Cabling & Quality Specialist to support a large-scale data center project. The primary focus is on operational quality control of structured cabling installations on-site.

Tasks

• Monitor and supervise structured cabling installations within the data center
• Inspect the work of external installation contractors on-site
• Verify installations against defined cabling standards and quality criteria
• Identify and document quality issues, deviations, and potential improvements
• Communicate quality findings directly to installation contractors
• Ensure compliance with data center and cabling standards
• Support the continuous improvement of installation quality
• Support cable routing and site planning activities

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience in structured cabling installation, ideally in data center environments
• Strong practical background in cabling and installation rather than a purely conceptual or architectural focus
• Experience with cable routing, site planning, and installation layouts
• Strong knowledge of cabling standards and technical quality criteria
• Experience in quality control, installation supervision, or construction monitoring is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of quality awareness
• Confident communication skills and the ability to address quality issues directly with external contractors
• Very good English skills
