Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric)

We are looking for a Mid/Senior Data Engineers with hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric to join a project for a leading banking institution.

The project is currently in the MVP phase, following the completion of the Discovery phase. The team is working on integrating data from three source systems, building Bronze, Silver and Gold data layers, and preparing data for analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.

• Design and implement data models across the Bronze, Silver and Gold layers.

• Transform and prepare data for analytics and reporting.

• Collaborate with the team to support the development of data visualization and reporting solutions.

• Contribute to the implementation and evolution of the data platform throughout the MVP phase.

Requirements

• Mid/Senior-level experience in Data Engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.

• Experience with data ingestion and ETL/ELT processes.

• Good understanding of data modelling and data architecture concepts.

• Experience preparing and transforming data for analytics.

• Experience working with layered data architectures (Bronze/Silver/Gold) is a plus.

• Previous experience in banking or other regulated environments is a plus.
