IT System Administrator

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on IT System Administrator to join our internal IT team and take ownership of the systems that keep the company running securely and efficiently. This is a role with real autonomy and broad scope, from cloud identity and endpoint management to network infrastructure and office equipment, where practical problem-solving and a proactive mindset matter more than ticking boxes.

You might be our missing piece if you have:

• 3 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 in a production environment: Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, security & compliance.

• Strong experience with Microsoft Intune for both Windows and macOS, including Autopilot enrollment and troubleshooting.

• Practical networking knowledge: firewalls (e.g., Cisco Firepower, Meraki), VLANs, Wi-Fi management, and troubleshooting across sites.

• Experience with meeting room video conferencing equipment (Poly Studio, Cisco Room Kit, or similar).

• Knowledge of access control systems (Paxton, HID).

• Comfortable across Windows and macOS ecosystems, as well as Windows Server and Linux.

• Ownership mindset: you see problems through to resolution and document as you go.

• Security-first thinking applied pragmatically: least privilege, sensible policies, no unnecessary friction for colleagues.

• Ability to prioritize and self-organize across a broad, varied workload spanning multiple offices.

• Clear, direct communication with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

We would be thrilled if you have:

• PowerShell scripting / Microsoft Graph API for automation.

• Experience with Google Workspace administration.

• Exposure to IT consulting or client-facing Microsoft 365 implementation projects.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., MS-102, MD-102, AZ-104, SC-300)

We will be working together on the following:

• Administering and continuously improving our Microsoft 365 environment: Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, SharePoint, and Teams — identity, access management, conditional access policies, and app governance.

• Managing Windows and macOS endpoints through Microsoft Intune — enrollment (Autopilot), configuration profiles, compliance policies, and application deployment (Jamf experience is a plus).

• Maintaining and supporting network infrastructure and office equipment across multiple locations: firewalls, switches, wireless, guest access, VPN, as well as meeting rooms (video conferencing systems such as Poly Studio, Cisco Room) and access control systems (Paxton, HID).

• Handling employee onboarding and offboarding processes from the IT side, keeping documentation up to date.

• Monitoring infrastructure health.

• Managing software licensing across the organization, tracking usage, identifying overlaps, and optimizing costs.

• Acting as an escalation point for complex IT issues and providing occasional consulting support on client facing Microsoft 365 projects.
