Deli Assistant - Full & Part-Time

SPAR Castletroy, Castletroy Retail Park, Castletroy, Limerick, County Limerick, is looking for both Full and Part Time Deli Assistants to join their fantastic team.

The successful candidate is responsible for the preparation of high quality hot and cold deli products and for ensuring customer satisfaction is the number one priority. To prepare and finish products to the highest standard in accordance with the product guidelines.

You will provide each customer order with great pride, passion and care and inspire shoppers through your knowledge and expertise of our fresh food offering. Your priority will be to demonstrate your passion for quality food, manage queues and maintain the highest standards in hygiene and food safety ensuring each customer receives an exceptional customer experience.

Job Type: Full-time / part time (6AM-6AM, some of our sites are open 24HR , night shifts available)

Location: Limerick City Centre and Castletory

Requirements

• To ensure that standard and promotional pricing is maintained correctly on a weekly basis

• To comply with all regulations concerning tractability of products and that all suppliers maintain the same focus

• To ensure that Merchandising and product presentation is of the highest standard at all times

• To ensure that stock rotation is adhered to, so that quality and freshness of products are of the highest standards at all times

• To perform any other duties as directed to you by Management from time to time

• Ensuring consistent standards of excellence in customer care

• To ensure any customer complaints and take the necessary action to ensure no complaint is repeated

• To be aware of, and adhere to all relevant regulations concerning H.A.C.C.P and health and safety, any breaches of these regulations are to be reported to the Manager/Retailer
