As a Dental Assistant, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality patient care, supporting clinical procedures, and helping create a positive, welcoming experience that leaves patients smiling.

    • What You’ll Do

  • Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care
  • Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
  • Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
  • Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings
  • Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, nutrition)
  • Review medical histories, take vitals (blood pressure and pulse), and update records
  • Help children feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after treatment
  • Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families

    • Position Requirements

  • DA Certificate (CDA, DA I, or DA II)
  • North Carolina Radiation Certification or DANB Radiation Certification
