YOUR MISSION
Key Objectives
- Own the end-to-end design and development of assigned Apparel categories, from seasonal concept through final commercial product.
- Translate PUMA creative direction into distinctive, consumer-relevant and commercially strong products for the market.
- Drive product innovation through a strong understanding of fit, construction, fabric, graphic and surface techniques.
- Use consumer insights, market intelligence, trends and business performance to identify design opportunities and translate them into product.
- Establish strong colour, material, graphic and product stories while maintaining consistency with PUMA brand DNA.
- Lead design execution through concept, technical development, prototype/fit stages and final product approval.
- Collaborate with Creative Direction, Development, PLM, Business Units, Marketing and other product categories to create cohesive 360° collections.
- Act as a strong design voice for assigned categories, presenting concepts and influencing product and creative decisions.
- Support the growth of the design team through knowledge sharing, mentoring and raising technical and creative standards.
YOUR TALENT
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Apparel/Fashion/Sportswear design.
- Strong technical apparel expertise with proven ability to assess garment fit, identify issues and drive fit corrections through the development process.
- Strong understanding of apparel construction, pattern/garment engineering, fabrics, trims, manufacturing and commercialization.
- Strong knowledge of fabric technologies, fabric manipulation, surface treatments and graphic application techniques.
- Ability to understand how material, construction and graphic choices impact the fit, function, aesthetic and commercial viability of a product.
- Proven ability to take products from concept → design → technical development → fit → final product.
- Strong creative ability across colour, materials, graphics, detailing and product innovation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and relevant CAD tools; 3D apparel knowledge is an advantage.
- Graphic design capability is a strong plus, particularly experience developing graphics, placements, repeats, prints or artwork for apparel.
