đź§­ Navigating the position: Development Team Leader (Python)
As a Team Leader will be responsible for guiding a development team. You will lead by example, driving engineering excellence, ensuring delivery of high-quality, scalable software. fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture. Working closely with other Team Leaders, Architects, and stakeholders. You will help shape technical direction, streamline delivery processes, and ensure alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Python developers, ensuring alignment on goals, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Mentor and coach team members to support their technical and professional growth.
  • Drive engineering excellence by promoting best practices in coding, architecture, and testing.
  • Plan and manage team capacity, sprints, and milestones to ensure predictable delivery.
  • Collaborate with other Team Leaders, Development Managers, Architects, and Product Owners to align engineering execution with business objectives.
  • Ensure effective adoption and execution of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) within the team.
  • Contribute to the evolution of development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • 7+ years of commercial software development experience.
  • 2+ years leading Scrum teams with a solid grasp of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong technical expertise in Python and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience in .NET ecosystem
  • Experience with microservices, distributed architecture, GraphQL, REST APIs, event buses, and message queues (RabbitMQ).
  • Proficiency in Test Driven Development, unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSql (MsSQL, MongoDB), Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
  • Exceptional communication, teamwork, attention to detail, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • An analytical mindset with a knack for leading by example.
  • Ability to inspire, mentor, and lead by example.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with front-end technologies (React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Experience with AWS/Azure cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools.
