About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Director / AVP – Programmatic Revenue to lead and scale our global programmatic monetization business. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in programmatic advertising, revenue optimization, ad-tech partnerships, and monetization strategy across SSPs, DSPs, trading desks, and publishers.

This role will work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Ad Operations teams to strengthen VDO.AI’s monetization stack and expand our presence as a leading SSP in the digital advertising ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and scale revenue growth across programmatic monetization channels.
  • Monitor SSP performance and optimize yield through data analysis, pricing strategies, and demand optimization.
  • Identify and onboard new demand partners by evaluating revenue impact and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Ad Operations teams to improve monetization infrastructure, campaign efficiency, and ad-tech capabilities.
  • Work closely with Product teams to contribute to monetization roadmap planning, feature enhancements, and AI-driven product innovations.
  • Work closely with Ad Operations teams to ensure smooth campaign delivery, inventory utilization, troubleshooting, and reporting accuracy.
  • Partner with Demand Operations teams to improve demand quality, partner performance, bid optimization, and revenue growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with SSPs, DSPs, Trading Desks, Agencies, and Ad Networks.
  • Contribute to monetization product strategy and identify opportunities for AI-driven automation, targeting, reporting, and optimization.
  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, or similar technologies to improve workflows, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, header bidding technologies, and programmatic ecosystem developments.
  • Represent VDO.AI at industry events and act as a key stakeholder for programmatic monetization initiatives internally and externally.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in programmatic monetization, Ad Operations, and digital advertising.
  • Strong relationships with SSPs, DSPs, agencies, and trading desks.
  • Deep understanding of DFP/GAM, ad serving technologies, header bidding, and monetization infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Prebid, EBDA, TAM, UAM, and yield optimization strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of IVT filtering and ad verification tools such as IAS and MOAT.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Ad Operations, and Demand Operations teams.
  • Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, or similar technologies.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with publishers, SSPs, or ad-tech platforms.
  • Knowledge of video advertising, CTV/OTT monetization, and programmatic ecosystems.
  • Leadership experience managing monetization or Ad Operations teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. MBA is a plus.
